Adjustable Inductors

Adjustable Inductors

An inductor is a passive two-terminal electrical component that stores energy in a magnetic field when electric current flows through it. Adjustable inductors use a movable core to modify the electric field and thereby increase or decrease inductance by blocking lines of flux. The unit of inductance is the Henry (H). Mounting options include surface and through-hole with values ranging from 30 nH to 2.5 mH.
