Photo Detectors - Logic Output

Products in the logic output photodetector family contain a light sensitive element such as a photodiode or phototransistor, and produce a binary (two-state) output indicating whether the amount of incident light exceeds a predefined threshold. They find use in the construction of photointerrupter devices, encoders, and similar devices where a basic light detection function is sufficient.
